You Can’t Decide Your Way Into a Future You Can’t See
Most people don’t have a decision problem.
They have a vision problem.
We spend enormous amounts of energy asking:
Should I take the job?
Should I leave the job?
Should we move?
Should I start?
Should I stop?
Should I say yes?
Should I say no?
And eventually we become exhausted.
Decision fatigue.
But perhaps the problem isn’t that you have too many decisions to make.
Perhaps the problem is that you don’t know where you’re going.
Because once you know where you’re going, a surprising number of decisions make themselves.
