How Can Everything Be Perfect and Yet “Not Good”?

Creation has a rhythm.

Good. Good. Good.

Then God looks at everything He has made.

Very good.

And yet…

In Genesis 2, God looks at the man and says, “It is not good that the man should be alone.”

No sin. No shame. No broken world.

Adam has paradise, purpose, and an unbroken relationship with God.

And still, not good.

We often treat needing people as a sign that our relationship with God isn’t enough.

But Adam had God.

Perhaps the need for community isn’t a failure of faith. Perhaps it’s part of the design.

You were created to know God personally.

You were never created to follow God privately.
